Hey, we're Racethon

Two guys from Kraków. One runs ultramarathons, the other writes code. Together we're building something we'd want to use ourselves.

We created Racethon because we know the feeling. You want to run, but you don't want to drive 500km to a start line at 4 AM. Or maybe you just prefer running on your own, at your own pace, without crowds or pressure.

So we built a place where you run whenever you want, wherever you want, at your own pace. And at the end, a real medal is waiting. Because your effort is real. The reward should be too.

Hey! I'm Kornel. I run ultramarathons, but I remember starting from zero and gasping after 200 meters. I know the hardest part is the first step. That's why Racethon has no time limit and nobody judging you.

A person who prefers keyboard to people. Responsible for making the "Buy" button work, payments not disappearing into space, and the app not crashing every 5 minutes.

  • 🏃 Sometimes runs (but 5km, not 170km like Kornel)

How did it start?

I finished another ultra-trail and thought: "That was great, but why did I have to drive 500km to start at 4 AM?"

My co-founder, who was sitting at his computer (as usual), heard this and thought: "That sounds like a problem to solve. Maybe I've run 1/100 of what Kornel has, but code is my thing."

And so Racethon was born. A combination of passion for running and technical skills. A mobile app, pressure-free challenges, and real medals.

We give you the medal and the challenge. You run wherever you want. Simple? 🤝

What matters to us?

Action over "someday"

Not "someday I'll start running". Just "I have a challenge and I'm collecting kilometers". A goal and a reward at the end.

Zero pressure

No time limits, no crowds, no comparisons. Run when you want, how you want. Walk-jog counts. We won't judge.
