Terms of Service

Section 1. General Provisions

These Terms of Service set out the rules for using the Racethon platform, available at https://www.racethon.com and in the Racethon mobile application, as well as the rules for participating in virtual sports challenges.

The Organizer provides electronic services through the Racethon platform, consisting of enabling the purchase and completion of virtual sports challenges.

Using the Racethon platform, including making a purchase for challenge access or creating an account, requires acceptance of these Terms of Service.

Acceptance of the Terms of Service occurs through performing an unambiguous confirming action, such as:

The Organizer ensures the User has the opportunity to review the Terms of Service before performing an action resulting in its acceptance.

Section 2. Definitions

Organizer - the entity operating the Racethon platform.

Participant - a natural person who has purchased access to a challenge.

Platform - the racethon.com website and the Racethon mobile application.

Challenge - a virtual sports challenge for a specific distance, completed without a time limit.

Package - a set of benefits chosen by the Participant:

Certificate - a digital document confirming completion of the challenge.

Medal - a physical reward shipped by mail (Silver and Gold packages).

Section 3. Participation Conditions

3.1. Registration and purchase

To participate in a challenge, the Participant:

  1. Selects a challenge,
  2. Selects a package,
  3. Makes a payment,
  4. Receives purchase confirmation by email.

During purchase, the Participant is informed about acceptance of the Terms of Service and conclusion of the contract.

3.2. Moment of contract conclusion

The contract is concluded at the moment of receiving the order confirmation email.

3.4. Duration of account agreement

The account agreement is concluded for an indefinite period. The User may terminate it at any time by deleting the account or sending a request to the Organizer's email address.

Section 4. Challenge Completion Rules

4.1. Completion time

Challenges have no time limit.

4.2. Adding workouts

The Participant adds their activities manually. They are responsible for their accuracy and correctness.

After reaching the required distance, the system marks the challenge as completed.

4.3. Location of completion

Activities may be completed anywhere.

Section 5. Payments

5.1. Prices

Prices are quoted in PLN and include VAT.

5.2. Payment methods

Payments are processed by Stripe. The Organizer does not store card data.

5.3. Payment confirmation

After successful payment, the Participant receives an email and access to the challenge.

Section 6. Certificates and Medals

6.1. Certificate

After completing the challenge, a PDF certificate is sent by email.

6.2. Medal

Medals are shipped within 7 business days of completing the challenge. Delivery: 3-5 business days.

Standard shipping covers the territory of Poland. International shipping requires individual cost arrangement - please contact hello@racethon.com.

The Participant may be charged additional customs duties or taxes arising from the law of the delivery country.

Section 7. Refunds and Complaints

7.1. Voluntary money-back guarantee

The Organizer offers a 100% refund of the purchase price without giving a reason.

This guarantee does not limit the Consumer's statutory rights.

7.2. Package change

It is possible to upgrade to a higher package by paying the difference.

7.3. Complaints

Complaints should be submitted to hello@racethon.com. The Organizer will process the complaint within 14 days of receipt.

7.4. Right of withdrawal

The Consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of its conclusion, without giving a reason. This right applies to all packages (Bronze, Silver, Gold).

Withdrawal requires submitting a statement, which may be sent:

To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send the statement before it expires. Refunds are made within 14 days of receiving the statement, using the same payment method.

7.5. Sample withdrawal form

7.6. Warranty

The Consumer has the right to warranty for physical defects of medals for a period of 2 years from the date of delivery.

Section 8. Liability

8.1. Safety

The Participant is responsible for safety during activities.

8.2. Health condition

Medical consultation is recommended before starting the challenge.

8.3. Limitation of liability

The Organizer is not liable for:

8.4. Abuse

The Organizer may block an account in case of violation of the Terms of Service, including providing false data regarding activities.

Section 9. Personal Data

Personal data is processed in accordance with GDPR. Details are contained in the Privacy Policy.

Section 10. Intellectual Property

Materials on the platform are the property of the Organizer. Copying and distribution without consent is prohibited.

Section 11. Final Provisions

These Terms of Service come into effect on the date of publication.

The Organizer may amend the Terms of Service for important reasons (changes in law, changes in scope of services, technical conditions). Changes are published on racethon.com/terms.html with 14 days' notice.

Changes do not apply to orders placed before they come into effect.

In matters not regulated, Polish law applies, in particular the Civil Code and the Consumer Rights Act.

The Terms of Service are available for download, saving, and printing.

Disputes with Consumers are resolved by competent common courts. The Consumer may use out-of-court complaint resolution methods:
